Happy Easter Everyone!! I wanted to take a few minutes before I finished preparing lunch to check our blog. It's days like this that I miss our family soooo much!
There are some major changes going on in our lives and since I am terrible with the telephone and don't want to leave anyone out, this is the best way to communicate with all! (Thanks again Amy!) Ricky has taken a job with Kelly Engineering. His (hopefully permentant) assignment will be at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Sanford, NC. This is an answer to a prayer that we have been sending up for over a year and had given up on. Then, out of the blue, the opportunity resurfaced! What a vivid example of God answering prayers on HIS time schedule and not ours!! While this is good thing for our family for many reasons, we are looking at a difficult period. You all know me and how "routine-oriented" I am, so the idea of the "unknown" scares me to death!!!! My mom keeps telling me that God doesn't open a door unless he has a plan laid out...we just have to have faith and leave it with him. I struggle with this daily, so any prayers would be greatly appreciated!!
Ricky has to report to work April 24 so for a while he will live there during the week while we stay here until school is out. I will update everyone as soon as we know where we will be living!
For my family in Rocky Mount, you have no idea how much you will be missed!! Although our hectic schedules prevent us from getting together as often as I would like, there is an indescribable comfort that comes from knowing that you are close by. I will miss that more than you know!
I am sorry for going on and on...I have been very emotional lately and it is SO helpful knowing that my family will be praying for us during this transition! We hope you are all doing well and that you are having a wonderful Easter!
Love,
Beth

Ok, time out...I created this blog to keep in touch and report mostly good news like pregnancies, get-to-gethers, Aunt Judy retiring and moving back to NC, you know; stuff like that. And of course for prayer requests, medical reports, etc. BUT...Not Beth, Ricky & the kids MOVING! I know this is what you guys have been praying for and I am truly happy that God has answered your prayers; however, it deeply saddens me that you will be leaving. Like you said, we don't get to spend a lot of time with each other, but knowing you guys are here means more than you know.
(If you must know, I'm pouting) :(
Seriously, I will definitely keep you in my prayers. I know this will be a difficult transition for all of you, but I promise you Beth, if you follow God's will for your life, He will be there with you EVERY step of the way. You will never be alone.
I love you!!
Amy
